November.3.2009

with John Cena waiting.

I’ve been watching WWE since the fifth week of 2009 religiously. Last June, the gimmick went that WWE will be bought by the billionaire Donald Trump. And so he did. So, Vince Mcmahon, WWE’s CEO, bought it back from him and came up with the idea that there’ll be guest hosts. The guest hosts could be any celebrity that you can think of, alive of course, and past or injured WWE celebrity.

The real reason why they came up with this idea is that they want non-fans to watch WWE by enticing them with the weekly guest hosts. Some of the celebrities that already guest hosted are Seth Green, who’s promoting Robot Chicken; Shaquille O’neal for a television show; Freddie Prinze Jr. for the television show 24; Jeremy Piven for the movie The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard; and the list goes on.

What if, in a sudden explosion of the energon cubes, the succeeding guest hosts are all actors and at the same time promoting a movie that will just be showing for that week.

I’ll be basing movies purely from IMDB’s coming soon films.

11.09.09 Raw episode:

It seems that 2012, having an awesome trailer, and other films such as Wes Anderson’s Fantastic Mr. Fox or The Messenger, having limited releases wouldn’t be running for the guest hosting job for WWE RAW. So, we have here The Boat That Rocked, which is officially called Pirate Radio, which rocked the British’s movie theaters early this year. I’m picking Jack Davenport because I just miss him. He was from the TV show Coupling, Brit version please. I know Philip Seymour Hoffman should do this but he looks like a snob. Well, for me. And it feels that the first pick went sucky. I might get lucky with the next few films. Moving on…

11.16.09 Raw Episode:

It is prolly quite expected that Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson would do this one. He’s starring in Planet 51 and the other movie that will be shown for this week? That vampire sequel, pffft. Well, one big wish for me. How about Dwayne bringing in Sean William Scott and Jessica Biel at the show? Sean will provide the funnies and Jessica, I really like her even if her body is muscular like one of the local talents Miss Vina Morales, would just be there. I’ll stare at her. I will not blink.

11.23.09 Raw Episode:

This week will prolly be given to Viggo Mortensen. He should come in as Aragorn, Son of Arathorn, with matching attitude of the Middle Earth realm. I’m sure they wouldn’t win the tandem of Robin Williams and John Travolta in a Walt Disney produced film. I know you want to see Strider.

11.30.09 Raw Episode:

So, it is quite hard for this week. We have Armored, Brothers, and Everybody’s Fine showing for this week. Why don’t we do this one, give the hosting job to Laurence Fishburne, Tobey Maguire, and Kate Beckinsale with matching costumes ala Morpheus, Spidey, and the Underworld Lady combined. It would be awesome for us. Right? Lame? Na-uh! The Underworld Lady’s there.

12.07.09 Raw Episode:

Peter Jackson’s The Lovely Bones will never win against Disney’s The Princess and the Frog. For crying out loud, her majesty Oprah Winfrey is one of the voices in that film and I doubt if a movie like Invictus, a Nelson Mandela film, would go for something like the WWE. I think I made my point here and we want Mark Wahlberg to be the guest host. He has an attitude IRL, how about in WWE?

12.14.09 Raw Episode:

Avatar doesn’t need any promotion, giving Hugh Grant and Sarah Jessica Parker to be the guest hosts. Come on, their movie Did You Hear About The Morgans wouldn’t survive the wrath of Avatar. Though… Would you want Hugh or Sarah in RAW? Sounds boring.

12.21.09 Raw Episode

Having a pre-Christmas episode is the shizzit and I doubt if It’s Complicated, starred by Meryl Streep and Steve martin, or Guy Ritchie’s Sherlock Holmes or Terry Gilliam’s The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus would even need a promotion for their films. That leaves us Jason Lee’s Alvin and the Chipmunks: the Sequel. He should bring in Charice Pempengco, she’s part of the film. And yeah, at least they could at least bring some moolah for their movie if ever they decide to do this.

They were saying that the guest hosting job will probably run up until the next Wrestlemania. I’ll try to continue with this one next year.
